1895-O 25c US Barber Quarter NGC VF Details Cleaned

1895 Barber Quarter minted in New Orleans. The Barber Quarter, officially known as the Liberty Head Quarter, is a classic United States coin design that was minted from 1892 to 1916. The obverse side of the Barber Quarter features a bust of Lady Liberty facing right, wearing a crown adorned with stars. Her hair is tied with a ribbon, and the word "LIBERTY" appears above her head. The date of the coin is located at the bottom, just below her neck. The reverse side displays an eagle with outstretched wings, perched on a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. Above the eagle are the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," and below it is the coin's denomination, "QUARTER DOLLAR." There is also a small "E PLURIBUS UNUM" inscription, meaning "Out of many, one." Barber Quarters have a diameter of 24.3 millimeters (0.955 inches) and are composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. They weigh approximately 6.25 grams.
