2006-D 25c US Washington Quarter ~ UNC

The 2006 South Dakota quarter features a design that showcases Mount Rushmore National Memorial. The monument is carved into the Black Hills of South Dakota and depicts the faces of four U.S. presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. The reverse side of the quarter also includes the inscription "Mount Rushmore," "South Dakota," and "2006." It was part of the United States Mint's 50 State Quarters program, which honored each of the 50 states with a unique design on the reverse side of the quarter.
