Product Information

The 2013 25C Great Basin National Park - Nevada 5oz Silver is a special edition 5-ounce silver coin that was released by the United States Mint as part of the America the Beautiful Quarters Program.

The coin features a design commemorating the Great Basin National Park in Nevada, which depicts the beauty and unique qualities of a single Bristlecone Pine tree and shows the rocky glacial moraines where the trees grow. These trees grow at higher elevation in the park and are some of the world's oldest. The park contains numerous Bristlecone Pine groves with trees older that 4,000 years. The obverse side of the coin features a portrait of George Washington.

As a 5-ounce silver coin, it contains a significant amount of silver, making it a valuable collector's item. The coin was minted in .999 fine silver and has a diameter of 3 inches. Its face value is 25 cents, but its actual worth is based on the current price of silver and its collectability.

Due to its limited mintage and unique design, the 2013 25C Great Basin NP 5oz Silver coin can be quite valuable to collectors.
