Product Information

This 1935 Washington quarter was minted at the Denver Mint. It is graded by PCGS Mint State 64. It is an interesting piece of numismatic history. It was part of the series that began in 1932 to commemorate George Washington's 200th birthday. During this year, the coin was minted with a composition of 90% silver and 10% copper, making it valuable to collectors, particularly because of the intrinsic silver content.

The 1935 quarter features the familiar design of George Washington on the obverse (front), with the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" to the left and "LIBERTY" above. The reverse (back) showcases a bald eagle, which is a common design element in U.S. coinage.
