1927 Silver Peace Dollar minted in Denver. The Peace Dollar is a United States silver coin that was minted from 1921 to 1935. It was designed by sculptor Anthony de Francisci and is known for its striking image of Lady Liberty on the obverse (front) and a perched bald eagle on the reverse (back). The coin was minted to commemorate the end of World War I, hence the name "Peace Dollar." It contains 90% silver and 10% copper, with a diameter of 38.1 millimeters and a weight of 26.73 grams. The Peace Dollar is a popular collectible among numismatists and is recognized for its historical significance and elegant design. This coin is not artificially toned it was stored in a Whitman Book since the 80's and it picked up the coloring of the book.
